Implant Services

Dental Implant Surgery

We have started doing the more simple, straight-forward implant procedures. The dental implant procedure consist of placing a metal, screwlike post into the bone to replace the tooths root. Eventually you will have an artificial tooth placed that functions and looks much like the real thing!

We use Nobel Biocare, a high quality implant company with a reputation of clinical excellence.

Implant Restoration

After the 5-6month healing processes for your implant, we are able to place the implant crown for you. This artificial tooth we will be placing will have you back to your original look and function.

We use Columbia River Dental Lab, a local high-quality provider.

The Implant Treatment Process

PLACEMENT

During your first appoint the Dr. will numb the area of the tooth and start the process. The process consists of making a small incision in your gum, in order to reach the bone and make a small opening in the jaw. The implant will then be placed and your gums will then be sutured shut.

HEALING

Gum healing takes a few weeks, but we need the implant to bond with your jaw bone which takes a little longer. It takes about 5-6 months for the full healing process to be complete. When that is all healed up, that is when we can starting building your restoration!

RESTORATION

After the 5-6 month healing process, that is when we will bring you back in to place your implant crown restoration. It is much like a dental crown, but attached to your implant. Dr. Aaron will make sure everything feels and looks great before letting you go. We will have you back to your happy and healthy smile in no time!

Are you a good candidate for a Dental Implant?

In order to know if you are a good candidate for a dental implant, we would have to take a CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Technology) Scan. A CBCT scan is a 3D X-Ray that is able to show Dr. Aaron a full-scale, 3D modal of your face and jaw. This will then allow Dr. Aaron to better understand your situation and be able to tell you exactly what to expect.
